I'm studying Psalm 1 and looking specifically at verse 1. I've read a couple of commentaries that conclude the walking, standing, sitting mentioned in this verse do not point to a progression of sin, but are merely examples of synonymous parallelism. However, from simple observation there does, in fact, seem to be a natural progression. Any thoughts?

I find it hard to be dogmatic either way. I've heard both interpretations, and I'm fine with either. It could also be just a thorough description of sin, referring to our thinking, our behavior, and our participation. That would just pretty much cover the entire realm of sin.
