I've seen a trend emerging that is almost a hybrid of Christianity and Judaism. Those who follow it are claiming to be Christians and also following the Jewish Law (as well as holidays/feasts). Is this part of the “New Perspective on Paul”?
Those that I've encountered believe something similar to this: www.119ministries.com/about-us/faith-statement/
And essentially think that Paul was interpreted wrong, namely in Romans. For instance, in Romans 7 they think that "The Law" that Paul is referring to is not the law of Torah, but rather the law/bondage of sin. This video study is referenced: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tspEQqzWa0
I have read your previous post, titled "Law" (http://askmike.proboards.com/thread/213/law) but are there any other passages that point out that we no longer need to follow the Law? Or other areas on Paul's writing that more specifically point that he is indeed referring to the OT Law?
For reference, here is the original statement:
How do Christians read Romans and think it's a good idea to forsake The Laws of YAH (God), claiming to "rely on faith alone at Judgement"?
You do realize that the whole point of faith is BELIEVEING THAT ON JUDGEMENT DAY all your sins will be forgiven because Yeshua was the atonement for your sins, but in order for Him to stand up for you at Judgement HE HAS TO KNOW YOU. The only way HE KNOWS YOU is if you give your life and chose to LIVE LIKE HE DID, FOLLOWING GOD'S LAWS, by your own free will.
The only way to become a new creation is to obey YESHUA'S TORAH, because the Torah TEACHES WHAT SIN IS ACCORDING TO GOD. Without the Torah you're just guessing whats ok and what not and just hoping for the best when you die. THAT'S what you're doing.

31 Do we then nullify the Torah through faithfulness? May it never be! On the contrary, we uphold the Torah.
The book of Romans tells you TO LIVE WITHOUT THE TORAH IS TO DIE WITHOUT IT
To die without the Torah means you die without an opportunity to have the Savior atone for your sins because you forfieted the Law that allows Him to be a advocate for you . You dont get The Atonement of Yeshua dying for you. You are left to be judged and nothing advocates for you. THAT SHOULD TERRIFY YOU! This is WHY NONE OF THE DISCIPLES LIVED LAWLESS LIVES.
