If God made Adam & Eve first, and they had three sons Cain, Abel & Seth, what happened next? If there were 3 sons, who did they mate with to start it all? Genetically there would have to had been at least 3 other women for them to procreate. Where did they come from?

Well, it's an uncomfortable answer for us today, but just because only three of Adam and Eve's children are mentioned, that doesn't mean they only had three. God told them to be fruitful and multiply. Therefore, they must have had had some daughters who married the sons. I know, it sounds icky to us, but they were the only people on the planet. There were no taboos, nor were there any rules against incest. But remember, the gene pool had yet to become tainted, so genetic deformities were not an issue. It wasn't until Leviticus 18 (I think) that God forbade incest.
