Romans 8:34 says, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, who was raised--who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us."
Colossians 1:27 says, "To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Therefore, there is a sense in which Jesus is at the right hand of God who is on His throne, and there is a sense in which He is ever present with and in His people. Remember, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct individuals, yet one God. What a glorious mystery, but God, who is triune (eternally existing as the Trinity) is always on His throne and always everywhere at the same time. Hope this helps.
