There have been dozens of men claiming to be the Christ resurrected. Scripture tells us He will come back. How do we identify Him? Is it possible He was one of those claims, or is already here?

It is not possible that any of those who have claimed to be the second coming of Jesus are actually Jesus. The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns, He will resurrect and transform all the bodies of the dead Christians to be reunited with their spirits for all eternity, then He will take up all the living Christians, transforming their bodies into resurrection bodies, and then He will begin to execute judgment on the living and the dead. Since none of those things have happened, we can rest assured that Jesus has not yet returned. For reference, see 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11; 2 Thessalonians 1:5-2:12; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58.
