Why do you think the preaching of Spurgeon in 19th century England appears to have no residual effect on that land. Such a loss.

I don't know, Dan. It's just like the preaching of anyone I guess. Look at the places where Isaiah, Jonah, Paul, John, Luther, Edwards, and others have preached and seen great results. I think that results don't typically last beyond a generation. Tragic, really.
